Clinical and Specialized Classes

We are deeply committed to enhancing your well-being and unlocking your potential.

Our program caters to individuals who seek to continue the comprehensive medical care they recently received, as well as those who have received encouragement from their health providers to incorporate more physical activity and wellness habits into their lives.

Adaptive Fitness Class

Cost: $35

The Falcon Fitness Center is excited to offer this class that is designed for individuals with physical disabilities who primarily use a wheelchair for mobility. Each class will involve an exercise circuit that combines resistance training and cardiovascular training. Our goal is to break down barriers and make fitness accessible for all. Each participant will be paired with a student intern to assist with exercise set up, exercise technique, and any additional assistance the participant may want or need. We will provide grip assistive devices, as needed, and will mainly be using cable machines, dumbbells, bands, medicine balls, and cardio equipment that has been adapted for wheelchair users. This program is not intended to be a replacement for in-patient or out-patient rehabilitation, but rather an opportunity for individuals to come together and engage in a general fitness program as they continue or begin their health and wellness journey.
