Slow down, settle in, and give your body permission to rest. Restorative Yoga is a gentle, deeply relaxing practice designed to release tension, calm the nervous system, and promote physical and mental restoration.
This is not a flow class. Instead, you will move slowly into a small number of comfortable, fully supported poses using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks. Poses are typically held for 5 to 15 minutes, allowing time for muscles to soften, tension to release, and the body to settle into stillness.
There is very little movement throughout the class, so the body may cool down more than it would during a traditional yoga practice. Long sleeves, socks, and cozy, comfortable clothing are recommended.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. Come ready to slow down, breathe deeply, and leave feeling rested and renewed.
